The 1.5 ha El Plantarga estate is a re-pelted vineyard with a drilled surface located in the south-east of the Barberà de la Conca area at an altitude of approximately 410 m. They practice biodynamic viticulture, applying sulphur powder, whey, horsetail infusions and biodynamic preparations 500 and 501. CCPAE certified.

Trepat: Native variety of the Barberà basin, with large and compact fruits, early protection and late ripening. It is sensitive to spring frosts and does not tolerate drought well, so cool soils are the most suitable. Medium-high yields produce fresh, light, fruity wines.

They select the best old vineyard drills. They collect the grapes in 20 kg boxes to ensure that the grapes arrive whole before they are processed. The harvest is cooled and the grapes are pressed directly, obtaining a free-run must that greatly marks the vintage with both colour and aromas. Fermentation begins with the grape's native yeasts.

They do not add yeasts, enzymes or any other additives during the winemaking or aging process. They do not filter or clarify their wines. The bottles may contain some natural sediment and/or Co2. The wine must be aerated once the bottle is opened. Each bottle is unique and different from the others.

It is wonderful to see the flock of sheep grazing and leaving organic waste in the vineyards.
