Els seus avantpassats realitzaven el cupatge dels seus vins a les vinyes, és a dir, tenien barrejades a les seves plantacions les dues varietats: uns ceps de Carinyena i els altres de Garnatxa Negra, el que es coneix com a cupatge a les vinyes. Amb aquest vi volen recuperar aquesta forma d’elaborar els vins però per aconseguir la millor maduració, treballen amb dues finques que es troben situades dintre l’orografia tan variable de la comarca. Al treballar amb dos varietats situades a dos llocs diferents aconsegueixen la millor maduració del raïm i podem treballar amb la fruita amb la millor maduració.
